In case you forgot, I am meditating on Romans 11:33-36. On day one, I thought about Romans 11:33. It talks about how unfathomable God is.
Today, I am thinking about Romans 11:34-35,
“For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been his counselor?” “Or who has given a gift to him that he might be repaid?”
This might be a quick one but I’ll do my best.
This is basically a series of rhetorical questions because the obvious answer to all of them is “no one”.
“For who has known the mind of the Lord”. No one can know what He think about.
“or who has been His counselor?”. No one can possibly council God on how to do His job. He is so powerful that He can help Himself.
“Or who has given a gift to Him that he might be repaid?”. No one.
See, since God is powerful beyond imagination, He doesn’t need help with anything from anyone. No one can fathom His thoughts, council Him, or give a gift to Him to be repaid.
I pray that you are all well and have a great day!
