Meditation Week 5, Day 1

Our verse for the last week of the meditation challenge is Romans 5:1-5, “Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.”.

Today, we are just going to focus on verses 1 and 2, “Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.”

Let’s start!

“Therefore, since we have been justified by faith,”. We have been accepted through faith.

“We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Since we have faith, we have peace with God and Jesus Christ.

“Through Him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand.”. Through God we have access to God’s grace(which we stand in) but only by faith in God can we access the grace.

“And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.”. And we become joyful because we have hope in the glory of God.

I pray that you are all safe and have a wonderful week!
